1. Entangled Photon Sources (EPS)

  • Protocol Support: Designed for BBM92 (entanglement-based) QKD protocol.
  • Operating Wavelengths: Available for ~800 nm and exclusive for space only applications in ~1550 nm
  • Applications: Ideal for advanced quantum communication setups including satellite-to-ground links and quantum networks requiring entangled photon pairs.

2. Faint-Pulse Sources (FPS)

  • Protocol Support: Optimized for BB84 (prepare-and-measure) QKD protocol.
  • Operating Wavelengths: Offered in both ~800 nm and ~1550 nm ranges.
  • Applications: Suitable for ground-based QKD setups and space payloads requiring precise, low-intensity single-photon pulses.
